Under the direction of motion graphics lead Matthew Lee, Jellyfish Pictures created several animated sequences, using a charming blend of 2D animation and dynamic 3D storytelling that examine the secrets of the global fishing scandal.
The scandal is outlined in this one-off documentary for the Smithsonian Channel, unravelling the story of how and why the oceans of the world are in such dire straits. The film follows Dr. Daniel Pauly as he investigates the global fishing industry, uncovering the vast amount of undisclosed, unregulated fishing that threatens to empty our oceans.
